Scott H. Cytron, ABC, is president of Cytron and Company, known for helping companies and organizations improve their bottom line through strategic public relations, communications, marketing programs and top-notch client service. An accredited consultant, Scott works with companies, organizations and individuals in professional services (medical, legal, accounting, engineering), high-tech and B2B/B2C product/service sales.
Scott is a Dallas native who has worked in the communications profession in internal and external roles. After graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism, Scott worked for several nonprofit organizations, a public relations agency and the Texas Society of CPAs, where he directed internal communications, affinity/vendor efforts, legislative activities, membership programs, continuing education promotions and Internet communications.
Seeing a niche to fill by delivering communications and public relations to professional services organizations, Scott formed Cytron and Company in 1995. In advising professionals across the country to market their businesses to achieve the correct message and the greatest impact, he delivers a number of communications-based services.
Specifically in the accounting profession, he has worked with accounting associations, firms, software providers and various publications. Current clients include the American Institute of CPAs, Intuit, Avalara, several accounting firms.
Scott is a founding member of a Vistage Thought-Leader Group and is on the board of the Poulos Children’s Cancer Foundation. Current volunteer activities include serving as first vice president for the Dallas Jewish Historical Society and delivering meals to clients of the Jewish Family Service. Scott has served the International Association of Business Communicators in a number of leadership positions at the local, district and international levels. He was a member of the International Executive Board from 2004-2008 and served as treasurer in 2006 and 2007. He was president of the 330-member Dallas Chapter in 2000, chair of District 5 in 2001 and a former director of Portfolios for the International Accreditation Board. He currently serves as a mentor in IABC’s Accreditation program.
Bryan M. Cytron
Account Executive, Cytron and Company
Bryan Cytron is an account executive with Cytron and Company. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas, with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a sports certificate. In his spare time, he writes freelance sports articles for various publications and contributes to his sports blog.
Bryan Cytron is on the board of the Poulos Children’s Cancer Foundation, serving as a content manager. The foundation aspires to provide children with cancer and their families with needed resources, making wishes come true. The foundation strives to spread public awareness about the different types of children’s cancers.
