Update on AICPA’s Top Technologies Program

Here’s an update on my recent blog posting on the AICPA’s Top Technologies Program. You may have already heard that the AICPA is definitely moving forward with this initiative, but in a somewhat different manner.

There will be two lists – one for CPAs in practice and one for CPAs in industry that will come out around the end of April. Chairing the effort are Joel Lanz and Ron Box. I’ve worked with Joel off and on for many years through my work with the AICPA’s IT Section, and just recently connected with Ron via LinkedIn.

From all accounts, the program is in good hands … and I”m glad.
